Are you good at asking for help?

By Eilat Aviram

Recently I found myself needing help but I didn’t know who to ask or what exactly to say to get the help I needed.

So I tried to ask but then I wasn’t sure how to receive the help and it became so complicated that I just tried to do it myself and it all fell apart!

Now I’m wondering,

“How good am I at asking for help?
And when I’m offered it, do I receive it?”

Because it’s really self-loving to let yourself receive the help you need.

Know what I mean?

Those of you who tried to get hold of me or download free stuff from my website lately will know that my website crashed.

It was down for three whole weeks!

So first I had the whole tech disaster when so many of you struggled to access the free training videos and then my tech sort of teetered and wobbled and finally fell with a crash.

And I didn’t know how to get help.

I did ask but I didn’t really get what I needed so I soldiered on feeling more and more overwhelmed, more and more powerless…

I expressed my distress (you notice I wrote this in bold, yes? Because juuuust in case you missed this,I asked for help until I got it) and a trusted friend showed me a solution.

Now my website is back up and I’m going to be getting the help I need.

My relief is immense.

Asking for help and letting yourself receive help is an important way to love yourself.

Don’t put off asking for help, ok?

If you want something or you need something ask.

And then let yourself receive.

And trust yourself to cope with whatever the outcome is.

Look I’m going to model it now.

“I’d like to ask for your help.

I need more reader reviews for my book. Amazon uses reviews to decide if to put your book at the very back of the store where no-one can find it or keep it in the front.

So if you’d like to give me (and any authors you love) a precious gift, please leave a review about your experience with the book? A one-liner or a short paragraph would be amazing.

Just CLICK HERE to leave your review.

Here are some questions to guide you. Just pick one or two.

  • How did you feel about the book? Did it leave you feeling uplifted – why? Did you feel disappointed – why?
  • Would you recommend it to others?
  • What exactly did you like or dislike about the book?
  • What did you think of the author’s writing style? Was it appropriate for this type of book?
  • How did this book change your life or perspective?
  • Do you feel you got a good value for your investment of both money and time?

I will receive your gift of a review with great appreciation.

It will make a real difference to the life of this book and to helping me spread the message to

LOVE YOURSELF IN YOUR CHOICES!

Thank you for helping me.

See that wasn’t so bad? Now you try it.
