Someone said to me, “Imagine your ideal world. Really fantasise about how it would be and how it would feel.”
And do you know something strange?
I found it scary to do.
It should be something so lovely to do but I felt real fear inside me when I tried.
I think it’s because over the years I’ve learned to protect myself against the constant disappointment of ‘reality’.
Because it hurts, doesn’t it?
When we wish the world was kind and gentle and considerate and satisfying and then it’s so… not.
We defend ourselves against this pain by not being so ‘unrealistic’ in what we dream of and what wish for.
We ‘grow up.’
UGH!
I didn’t realise how much I’d learned to dim down or push aside my real hopes and dreams until I tried this exercise.
This dimming-down business is really unhelpful because it means we’ve forgotten something SO important!!
Imagination is our creative force.
Everything you see around you in the room you’re sitting in now, began as an idea in someone’s imagination.
And now it’s sitting there in your world.
So when we imagine, we create.
DON’T STOP DREAMING.
Don’t pretend that you don’t actually want what you want.
Be unashamed and unapologetic about who you are and what your deepest desires are for yourself and for the world.
Because you are actually creating it when you dream it.
And we need your beautiful dreams.
They help all of us.
It serves everyone when you love yourself by imagining your preferred reality.
So I want to share with you, the results of my exercise.
Here’s my fantasy of New Earth as I long for it.
Unashamed.
Unapologetic.
This is what I am creating:
I know I am safe in the world. I feel deeply safe being me. So does everyone else.
There is peace on earth. And harmony. We all live in bliss. It’s normal for us.
We are all nourished and excited to be here and play and create.
All beings are equal. Everyone loves themselves. Everyone is loved and welcomed by everyone else.
Everyone has all they need and manifests all they desire.
There is mutual understanding and love for each other and for ourselves.
I shine brightly and unapologetically. There is no need not to.
I have joyful abundance of anything good that I desire. Easy. Like everyone else.
I find life easy and fun. So does everyone else. We are joyful.
I am no longer a being who lives in suffering. Neither is anyone else.
I never feel unsafe. How marvellous. Neither does anyone else.
I trust. I allow flow. It’s a miracle fountain that keeps bubbling up with wonderful surprising things. Everyone else trusts too.
Bliss is my natural state. I’m in it all the time as I go about my daily business. So is everyone else.
Ask yourself, “What is my dream for us all? What os my dream for me?’
Then share it on social media.
Share this email with your friends.
The more of us that do this, the stronger it gets.
Let’s make our dreams come true… simply by allowing ourselves to dream them.
Love yourself enough to do this.
