The Portal of Permission

A membership for caring, sensitive people who are tired of living in survival mode.

You have just found a magical space.

In this wonderful, supportive community, we practice making choices that give us a warm, happy 'yes' feeling inside - and we don't feel guilty about it.

The reason is, that when you look after yourself better in your daily choices, your nervous system regulates. It comes out of the fight-flight-freeze state. That means you no longer live in a stressed, anxious, tense body. You don't have to keep navigating big waves of emotion or depression - and you stop being so mean to yourself (that's also a survival thing).

As you find more balance, you become an even nicer partner, a kinder parent, a more generous friend, a better employee or boss - and you don't feel depleted at the end of the day! Hooray!

Everyone benefits when you learn how to make more self-loving choices.

Oh, and you also feel more confident, you speak out more bravely and you manage your eating, your health and your money better.

I hope you join us and see for yourself.

“I just want to say this community is such a beautiful place. I'm not afraid to share openly because I know I will be met with compassion.

There is something about being in a space where people are building compassion for themselves and for each other - it makes it feel safe to be real.

I really needed a place where I could say all of this out loud… and be held in it.

Honestly, I could cry just thinking about it. What a blessing this space is.”

Marilyn Sutherland

Relationship Coach

Are you deeply tired?

Are you tired of being the 'capable one' ?
The considerate one who understands everyone else’s needs - but somehow can’t stay with what you need??

When you look after everyone else but not yourself, you can appear functional - even successful - from the outside. But inside, you may feel sort of desperate, like you’ve lost yourself somewhere.

It’s those small, everyday moments…

  • You know you need to say no… but you feel guilty about letting them down, so you say yes instead.
  • You keep the peace and make sure everyone's okay. Then later you lie awake… wired, resentful, exhausted.
  • You overthink simple decisions and stay frozen. You replay conversations in your mind.
  • You snap at people you love - and then feel ashamed for it.
  • You carry everyone's voices in your head and have the conversations in there that you can't out loud.
  • You scroll, eat, numb out… just to get a break from the internal noise and external overwhelm.
  • You work hard - but still feel anxious about money.
  • You’re surrounded by people… and somehow still lonely.
  • You wonder, "If I stopped doing this, what would happen to everything? Or to me?"

You quietly wonder why life seems easier for everyone else.

And part of you knows you can’t keep living like this.

And the worst part?

You know you're emotionally intelligent! You’ve read the books. You’ve done therapy. You understand the nervous system stuff. You know what's happening. You know what you need to do! And yet...

When your child asks for something, or a client pushes a boundary, or your partner looks disappointed -  your body still goes cave-woman. Fight. Flight. Freeze. Fawn. Before you’ve even had a chance to think.

And afterwards you’re left wondering,

“Why can’t I just react differently?”

“Why can’t I just say no?”

Here’s the gentle truth:

When your system senses threat - even subtle social threat - it will choose safety over authenticity every time.

In those moments, your body is not asking, “What’s true for me?”

It’s asking, “Am I safe?”

So you’ll choose belonging over truth.
Approval over rest.
Harmony over honesty.

Not because you’re weak. But because you’re human.

And because your nervous system is trying to protect you.

There's a real cost to this survival strategy.

When you keep overriding yourself, your relationships take strain. Not always loudly - but underneath. In the tension, or the resentment you don’t want to feel.

Your nervous system stays on high alert - constantly tracking, anticipating, managing - which affects your emotional wellbeing and your physical health.

Your creativity shrinks. Your earning capacity plateaus. Your leadership dulls.

You keep the peace. You keep things running. You keep everyone else okay...

But life maybe starts to feel flat, anxious, or quietly hopeless.

Like you are slowly disappearing from your own life.

So this costs you intimacy.
It costs you clarity.
It costs you energy.
It costs you money.
It costs your wellbeing…

But it is not who you are.

It’s just a pattern.

And patterns can change.

When you stop abandoning yourself, everything changes.

❤️  Your relationships feel lighter. You say what you actually mean without feeling guilty after.
You stop saying yes just to avoid disappointing someone - and then snapping later because you’re exhausted. You’re less reactive, more present, more open-hearted… more safely you.

❤️  Your body settles. You feel calmer inside. You’re not carrying everyone else in your head all day.
You fall asleep without replaying every conversation. You stop turning to food, or screens, to numb.
That constant edge of anxiety softens.

❤️  You trust yourself more.
You send the email. You make the call. You take the next step - without overthinking it for months.
And when you wobble, you don’t turn on yourself. You are kinder to you.

❤️  Work feels different too.
You stop over-delivering just to prove your worth. You make clearer decisions. You are better with your money decisions. You speak up sooner.
And you still have energy left at the end of the day.

It's NOT selfish to look after yourself.

The people who love you don’t lose you when you start saying yes to yourself. They gain a steadier, clearer, more present version of you.

And that changes everything.

❤️

“When I joined The Portal, I felt like I needed more support in my life. I almost didn’t join because it felt like admitting, in public, that something was wrong with me. But I said yes because I wanted to shift that feeling. I had also done Eilat's 5-day eating workshop, and that felt like such a safe space.

Since being here, I’ve become more aware of my needs and I’m starting to find ways to honour them. One small win I’m really proud of is catching those moments. I pause and breathe before reacting to something I don’t like or don’t want to do. I don’t always catch them 😆 - but I’m noticing them more and more.

What I value most is the kindness and encouragement - towards myself and towards everyone who shares. And especially the permission to be vulnerable without feeling shame.

If you’re thinking of joining, I’d say: try it. As a kindness to yourself in a world that can sometimes feel hard to navigate.”

“Inside the Portal there’s no guilt. No pressure. No feeling ‘behind.’ We move at our own pace, gently held by Eilat and by each other.

I’ve been receiving Eilat’s Wednesday emails for years. When the opportunity came up to join the Portal and receive daily support, I was IN.

If you’re wondering whether to join, I’d say: do it for yourself. Allow yourself the gift of support. Of not having to do it all alone. Of having gentle guidance every single day.

It’s priceless — and deeply needed.”

Why This Actually Works (Even If Nothing Else Has)

You don’t need more books, courses, or degrees. You already know what to do. It's just hard to do it.

What works better is a safe place to practise and gentle tools you’ll actually use.
You need consistent support while you rewire the old patterns.
You need community.
You need kindness.
You need permission.

This membership helps you finally DO what your heart has been whispering to you for ages:
Rest.
Say no.
Choose joy.
Take the brave step.
Say the scary thing.
Stop overgiving.
Start receiving.

And we do it together - which means you stop believing you’re the only one who struggles like this.

Each piece of The Portal is carefully designed to regulate your nervous system and build self-trust through repetition, reflection and real-life integration - one tiny, self-loving step at a time.

When you dare to tune into your own truth and follow it - even a little - your life begins to shift.

Not because you force yourself to change.

Not because you “should.”

But because you finally let yourself matter.

“The Portal has helped me feel legitimate - like it is truly okay to be as I am. That there is nothing wrong with me.

It has changed how I think and feel about myself. It has opened me up to self-acceptance, kindness and love - and that has led to more acceptance and love in my relationships too.

The videos, meditations and daily love notes constantly remind me of this new way of being. I believe in learning by immersion, and The Portal makes that possible.

Together with you and The Portal, I am changing my life.”

This community matters deeply - especially for those of us who are used to giving to others. It is not easy to acknowledge that we don’t have it all figured out. And it is even harder to do that in front of others. Yet somehow, here, it feels possible.

As I do the work and ask these Love Questions, I notice that I show up differently in the world. And the way I show up brings a different kind of healing to the people around me.

As I learn to be brave enough to listen to myself, and soft enough to meet myself with care, it becomes easier to offer that same presence to others.

I can see my growth - not just within this community, but in my life.

The questions keep unfolding: Who am I? What am I here to do? And I’ve come to realise… this is part of the answer.

Because the more I give myself permission to love myself, the more I naturally reflect that back into the world. I meet others with more softness, more humanity. And something begins to shift - not just in me, but around me.

There is something very powerful about that.

And Eilat, I often find myself marvelling at your ability to hold one person with such presence and care, even while others are witnessing it. That kind of space is rare. Thank you!”

What's Inside The Portal of Permission?

What If I’m Already Overwhelmed?

The Portal is not another thing to keep up with.

The core teachings are short — about five minutes each. The practices are small. The rhythm is gentle.

There is no curriculum to complete. No performance to maintain.

You dip in when you need it. You show up as you are. You move at your pace. But there's lots of warm support.

This space is designed to reduce overwhelm — not add to it.

I'll Wait Until Things Calm Down, Then I'll Join...

You might be tempted to tell yourself you’ll join when life feels less busy. Less intense. More manageable.

But the truth is — life doesn’t usually calm down first.

What changes things is learning how to stay steady inside the life you already have.

The Portal isn’t something you add once you’re calm.

It’s what helps you become calmer — gently, over time.

You don’t need more space before you begin.

You begin, and space slowly opens.

“What’s different here is that you don’t have to mask. Vulnerability is met with real kindness and compassion, because people genuinely understand.

We grow stronger by sharing. And when one person opens up, it gives others permission to do the same.

I can feel the difference The Portal is making to me in gentle, unthreatening ways that manage to soothe rather than alarm. This work regulates the nervous system. Change can be scary, but it never is here! 💚🥰🙏

 Lorna

“I came across a ‘productivity’ book one weekend, and I felt both annoyed by its impossible demands… and strangely pulled towards it.

It left me feeling restless and unsettled. I couldn’t understand how I could feel both repelled and attracted at the same time.

It was only a couple of days later that I realised what I was actually feeling: self-betrayal. And in that moment, I could gently remind myself - I don’t have to live like that anymore. I’ve found a different way. A gentler, more nourishing way. One built on small, kind steps and tiny wins that slowly rebuild self-trust.

That realisation felt like coming home.”

🪄 Who’s Behind This Magic?

My name is Eilat Aviram
(pronounced Ay-lutt Ah-vee-rahm).

I’m a Daring-Decisions Teacher. As a clinical psychologist, speaker, hypnotherapist, best-selling author and energy-healing teacher, I’ve supported thousands of sensitive, caring people over the past 29 years.

I teach a simple, powerful method to help you love yourself in your real-life moments of choice.

After almost thirty years of doing this work with thousands of people - and living it myself - I have seen a clear pattern:

The problem isn’t that we are broken, or not good-enough...

It’s that we have been taught to not listen to ourselves!

I know what it’s like to doubt yourself, to feel too much, to be everyone’s anchor but your own.

I also know the freedom that comes from finally saying, “No more.”  And I know the profound relief of realising you are allowed to choose yourself.

This space is my offering to all of us - and to the part of you that’s whispering, “There has to be another way…”

There is.  You've found it.

Welcome to The Portal of Permission.

"The Portal of Permission is a quiet rebellion for every sensitive soul who’s been told their softness is weakness,
their magic is madness, and their kindness is naïveté."
